De minimis rewrite lands

WASHINGTON — The long-trailed rewrite of the de minimis provisions published on Wednesday, narrowing eligibility and adding a data element that most Type 86 filers do not currently transmit.

The compliance date is 1 November. Platforms clearing high volumes of low-value parcels have ninety days to change what their filers send.
